What We Do
The Yarmouth & Area Chamber of Commerce's main role is as an advocate for business, representing businesses on local issues with local government but also on provincial and federal level through our representation with the Atlantic Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
We regularly provide networking opportunities, guest speakers, and educational seminars. We have many professional development opportunities for members and their staff to participate. The Chamber also provides a member directory, an opportunity to provide member-to-member benefits and other promotional avenues to help your business succeed. There are also many national member benefits exclusively available to Chamber members.
The members of the Yarmouth and Area Chamber of Commerce are part of over 170,000 companies across Canada representing businesses of all sizes, in all sections of the economy. You also serve to support our local network be the voice and chief advocate for business issues in this wonderful community we choose to live in.
