What does your business provide?
At East Coast Scaffolding Ltd we provide Nova Scotia with the highest quality access available on the market today. We operate with a small team of highly trained and professional scaffolders all of whom have completed a comprehensive 4 year in-house training program.
As a comprehensive scaffolding provider, we operate in all areas of access including residential, commercial and industrial (and yes we can build lighthouses).
What made you want to start your Business?
Having grown up in England, a country with a long-established scaffolding industry, it was a surprise to see no such companies here. After debating the concept of introducing scaffolding as we have it back home, we decided that it was certainly worth a try. The positive responses we later received gave us the confidence we needed to continue.
When did you join the Chamber of Commerce & how have we helped?
We joined the Yarmouth and Area Chamber of Commerce around 3 years ago now. Since then, we have received a great deal of help and guidance including advice on local companies to work with, networking with other businesses and homeowners, and I have personally found that the chamber is a great place to find guidance with the ever so confusing CRA website.
